For the Christians, 'Prayer' is an important thing that they can't be without.
But how do you pray?
In Matthew 6:31~32,
31. "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?'
32. "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Commonly we pray for what we need, for the things that we can see. For example, for the husband's business, or the children's grades or admission, future partner, family member's health, etc.
These are things that anyone can ask of their gods, even if he is not a Christian. It's just that the prayer directed to is God.
The Bible calls the people who pray like this as the Gentiles. Do not pray like this.
And then, God tells us to pray as below:
33. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

그런데 여러분은 어떤 기도를 하시나요?
마태복음 6장 31~32절에
31. 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라

흔히 우리는 우리가 필요한, 눈에 보이는 것들을 가지고 구하고 기도합니다. 예를 들면 남편 사업, 자녀들의 성적이나 입시, 미래의 배우자, 가족의 건강 등등..
이런것들을 기독교인아니라도 누구나 자신의 신들에게 구할 수 있는 것들입니다. 단지 기도의 대상이 하나님일 뿐입니다.
성경은 이런 기도하는 사람들을 이방인이라고 합니다. 이런 기도하지 마십시오.
그러고는 이렇게 기도하라고 하십니다.
33. 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
